United States: Researchers are studying the recent rise in the colon cancer in young people that have made a major discovery about the diets, and they found that the Western diets which are high in the fat and sugar and increase risk of colorectal cancer an Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Their study has published in Nature Reviews Microbiology recently which explored how our diet affects the gut microbiome—the community of microorganisms in our intestines—and how changes in this balance can impact our overall health and really can cause many health issues.

“Our review which highlights the important impact of different diets on the gut microbiome,” lead author Prof. Catherine Stanton said in a statement. “This understanding is very important for developing dietary recommendations that basically promote health and prevent the toxicity of the disease. It’s fascinating to see how dietary choices can influence the balance of microorganisms in our gut and their metabolic functions.”
